In conjunction with the release of Generation Kill,an HBO miniseries....HBO is offering a bunch of items they will send for FREE to the Marines.

All you have to do is provide an email address/Name,and City/State.

ohhhh good one. i didnt even get that far. as soon as i saw the beef jerky i was like man, if i was in iraq, thats what i would want. lol its prbly pretty unsanitary there though. can we only send one item?

I sent the phone card because I know how important it is for them to be able to call their loved ones!! DB let another OC use his phone card to call his mom, I was so proud of DB :) lol

I couldn't find the phone cards. I think they ran out. But I'm a cheater too. I sent 2 Maxim Magazines, Hand Sanitizer, and Beef Jerky. lol

i posted a bulletin on myspace and sent an e-mail to my coworkers about this so i'm sure they'll get PLENTY of items :) my cousin sent a maxim, vaseline, and a phone card....she said it was so they could have phone sex, :lol!:

I sent a phone card. I thought that if I were there that would be the most important thing to me. I would want to be able to communicate with my family. Especially for those that have children.

I sent batteries, there were no phone cards left. So I figured if they had cameras or videocameras they could use the batteries to send messages and pics home. i dunno lol
