Hi my name is Chrystal, I have been married to my love since 2005. Recently relocated to California after being stationed in SC. I have a 9 year old from a previous marriage and we are gearing up for a deployment later in the summer :cry: But if anyone ever wants to chat hit me up :D

Nice to meet you, I'm Cara. Was your husband at Naval Weapons Station here in SC? Hang in there during deployment well be here for you! I have to do it soon too!

Actually we were stationed in Beaufort SC at the MCAS there. He was Aviation Ordnance but crossrated so now he is a Construction Mechanic, thats how we ended up all the way over here lol, I'm wishin myself good luck on this deployment b/c all the ones prior he was on a carrier, this time he will be on the ground :cry: It will all be ok though right lol nice to meet you, how you like SC?

Lol I was not a huge fan of SC either, was down there for 2 years, let me tell ya the west coast was beautiful to arrive to!! Good luck with your orders though I have heard WA is beautiful!!

Thanks I appreciate the support we been through deployments before just for some reason him not being on a boat is kinda botherin me lol its ok though I'll get used to it.

& i'm worried bout it also;
we have spent the better part of our relationship apart up til now,
but we will also have an infant at home,
so that's gonna make it hard too.

we are from cali as well :) how long have you been here? and dont worry you & your hubby will get threw it. i understand how it feels to have a hubby going ground and not on a boat. my hubby used to go to vegas for depts all the time...it was really rough.

welcome we are also from cali it is nice here well depends on where you are at lol. well best of luck on your deployment. my husband and i have been through one six month and 2 2 month ones and we are now getting ready for another 6 month. i wish you best of luck everything will be ok.
