How has ....

your summer been?

Mine has been BUSY!!!! I want to say sorry I haven't contacted or got on here much. We have two more weeks left on leave!!

Other then that, we are doing great and got the place we are wanting in VA! I'm sooo happy!! Just spending time w/family and what not. I hope everyone else is having a great summer!!

wish i could say it was just busy, but it's turned out to be the worst summer yet, i'll take boring anyday

mine's been slow ever since DB left :( I actually can't wait to go back to school!!! haha

It started out fun with the in-laws visit in June! All in all it has sucked because we haven't had alot of time with Ty because he is always out and on top of that he leaves soon for deployment :(

awww girls... :( im sorry. my summer has been awesome! haha first i got to live with my husband for the first time in 10 months! woo hoo! then we were able to get the housing that we wanted! woo hoo! and my family came out to visit us! and in a couple weeks i get to go back to california and visit all of my family again! including my niece who was just born in april and my best friends little girl who was just born in june :) this summer has been really good to me :D

We have been really busy. My son is out for the summer, and then my husbands mom and sister were out for 2 weeks. His father came out for a weekend, and one of our best friends is coming out this weekend. Then it is prep for deployment and my son going home :( So its been pretty crazy, now I have to be ready for a really lonely and boring fall and winter.

Oh busy...We're preparing for a deployment VERY,VERY SOON (a matter of weeks away.)

So we've been running around visiting family at last minute and still dealing with underways.

Found out I got knocked up in May...so thats thrown a wrench into everything.

Ive just been working and busy.

lol "anklebiter"?!?!? wow, i thought only dogs did that lol. yah! if you have the baby at dewitt i can just walk down and bring you some fresh baked muffins or something lol. ill definitely take the anklebiter off your hands for a few hours! i loooovvve babies! my best friends hubby is joining the coast guard so she and their new baby are going to come stay with us since he's going to school in...uhhh...somewhere in virginia lol, i forget! but yah anyway theyre coming in november so we can have a baby party or whatever haha.

Im ready for this kid to be out,and have my body back...I swear I felt it punching my hip today.And I talk to it at work...'Stop punching Mommy...I really dont wanna throw up today.'

hopefully your 2nd trimester will be better...i think thats supposed to be the easiest trimester. by the end, youre REALLY gonna want the baby out lol. i wonder if people think youre crazy at work??? like people walking around with their bluetooths in their ears...they always freak me out!

Well our shop is uber small,so i will know if someone walks in...hehe.

haha ok, thats good. yah i dont think i will ever get used to the bluetooths. theyve been pretty popular for what like 2 years now??? and i still get freaked out by them lol

this is kinda funny...one day i was talking to my sister on my bluetooth because in ca it's the law that you have to have a hands-free device while driving. i was parking my car and still yapping away and walking to my apartment...i pass these two little girls (about 8-12ish) and they're ogling me with a strange look. i figure 'they probably think i'm talking to myself' so i brushed my hair back to show them my bluetooth as i was walking by. after i passed, i hear the one girl say to the other, "nah, she wasn't talking to herself, she had one of those bluetooth things" KIDS! :lol!:

haha thats totally me, i stare people down all the time like, wth are you doing?!?! and then i walk by and see the bluetooth lol.

I freak people out with my bluetooth in all the time. I think it's funny when they try to answer me when I'm talking on it. LOL!

My summer has been crazy trying to figure out where we are going to live and waiting for orders that we just got 2 weeks ago. At least we know where we'll be in October. Camp Pendleton, CA. Then to 29 Palms, CA in December. My husband said that his Master Chief is going to talk to the detailer about changing his orders to stay at Camp Pendleton so that we can move with him in October instead of having to wait until December. We shall see. I also got to see a few friends from high school that I haven't seen in 22 years. :)

Spending time with the kids too. :)

if you got to stay at camp pendleton thatd be sweet...i grew up in that area and lemme tell ya, 29 palms is not where you wanna be! but i guess if thats what happens youll at least get to be with your hubby in warm california instead of maryland!

Contact Operation Homefront...I forgot...about them and they can help with moving too.I saw a blurb online about them and it mentioned they help with moving.

Personally, I can do without the heat. I'm starting menopause and having my own personal summer as it is. :) At least they don't have the humidity that we have here. The only thing that really is important is that I'm with my husband. I really hope that we get stationed at Pendleton though. Especially if he gets deployed. I'd prefer to be stuck there then at 23 Palms. I've looked on the map to see where both bases are and I'd rather be near the beach than in the middle of the desert.

yah 29 palms is literally out in the middle of nowhere. you have to drive about an hour or so to get to anywhere...dead serious lol. yah im loving the humidity...when i moved back to cali my skin got sooooo dry. just pack lots of lotion lol!

Awww thanks I am trying, but its just busy, busy and i work FT so it makes it that much busier lol

yah...well im sure you will appreciate the business more once he leaves...its just too bad you have to be so busy beforehand!

Mine has been good except dh is deployed... But me and the kids got to go hme and visit for like a month!!!! :cheers: So everyone got to meet Kassidy since she was born out here in cali only a couple people from the family knew here before we visited!
