Our Hiking Trip

Here are the pics I posted about in another forum from our hiking trip last weekend in Lake Poway in CA. Some of the stuff, like the bench in the first picture, you can tell was burned in the fires....Kind of sad but it was still GORGEOUS! We're going again today to Lake Morena in CA but we're camping this time so I'm uber excited for that...I'll post pics after that trip, too! Let me know what you think....I know some are far away, can't do much about it, sorry!! Thanks for looking! :heart:

yeah, he was pretty dirty. we didn't even shower right away...we got in the pool in our apartment complex and it washed us off pretty good, haha.

nope, we actually don't have a tundra...our friend does. phil doesn't like foreign cars, lol. he's a chevy fan all the way. we have a gmc canyon for now...thinking of getting a new vehicle here soon!

ohhh ok. we love foreign cars lol! we have a toyota corolla and honda civic right now. ive always wanted a tundra though...im kinda glad i dont right now cuz of gas prices! but hopefully one day they will make a hybrid tundra lol

my boss recommended i go hiking/camping in rock creek, do you know where that is? if so, have you ever been there and is it nice?

no ive never been to rock creek. is that in san bernardino??? cuz the only rock creek i know of is up in bishop which is northern california.

yeah it's near bishop....she went hiking there this past weekend and said that there are like 6 lakes in a 4 mile stretch and lots of trees and green....more like back home.

yah ive heard that its really beautiful up there. Basically the farther up north you get the more green its going to get heh. but bishop is real close to mammoth and is close to yosemite too so im sure its gorgeous. i spent a few summers in the sequoia national park which is just south of bishop and its really pretty there too.
