Hey girls. New here..

Hey.

I wanted to introduce myself.. I am Lyndsi and i am engaged to Brandon. I am 21 and Brandon is 29. He is a Corpsman in the Navy. And we are stationed here in Jacksonville, FL. We have 3 children between the 2 of us. Lelan who is 3, MaKynzi who is 2, and Lile who is 1. So life is pretty hectic for us. We are getting married the 23rd of next month, back home in Indiana.

Brandon is getting deployed in October, which sucks! :( It will last anywhere from 3-7 months.

and rachel if i have anything i will def. take you up on that offer... we are getting married back home in indiana so i am planning it all from here.. lol it was pretty hectic but ive done a pretty good job if i do say so myself!!

have you gotten a guestbook yet? i like the idea of taking pictures of the guests as they walk in and having them sign a book that you can put their picture in.

i know how you feel about it being hectic planning the wedding from afar kinda. my husband was in sc and i was in pa so he couldn't do much of anything at all. i did everything pretty much myself with my mom's help and i don't think it could have been much better.

one thing i'd say is to have someone videotape the wedding, even if it's a not a videographer....just so it's someone that has a camcorder. i regret not taping ours because there were some surprises that we didn't know people were gonna do, like my dh's best friend sung to us, his best man dropping my wedding ring because he was so nervous....etc. and don't worry about a limo, it's kind of a waste of money for the short time you're in it. i'd just say to splurge on the photographer, your dress, and the cake....everything else is just material things. but, then again it's your wedding...i'm just throwing out ideas. i hope you enjoy yourself though!! let me know if you need anything! :heart:

yeah well brandon is here with me and still isnt helping me at all, it kind of drives me crazy, but whatever, he is a man, i guess i cant expect too much, huh lol

yeah we are video taping the wedding and we are going to have somebody go around the reception with it and have them say something like a shout out or something. yeah no limo, its pointless, we are literally flying home the 22nd, getting married the 23rd, and we have to leave to fly back here on the 24th because Brandon has to be back at work, he only had 3 days left of leave, haha.. but he has a 3 day weekend not too far away from there so my grandmother is watching the kiddies and we are going to disney, and stay in one of the resorts, its not that far away, and it isnt extremely expensive, and we both LOVE disnery, i am excited to go to downtown disney, first time ill be 21 there without kids!! so we are going to the clubs! And then i actually get to ride the big people rides as i explain to my kids why they cant go on them, haha!!

I love Disney too!!! DB's parents live so close we used to go to Downtown Disney all the time to see movies... like almost every weekend, lol.

yeah Brandons grandma lives like a half hour away.. and we live like 2 hrs. away!!

I want to go the new jungala thing at busch gardens.. i heard it was ALOT of fun!!

I go to school in Tampa!! Busch Gardens is like 5 min away!!! We should def try to hang out!

yeah!! we def. need to get together.. maybe when we go to disney, we can meet up and go to downtown disney!!

yeah i have been to busch gardens alot but ive never been to the jungala thing and it looks SOOO much fun!! i cant wait to be able to go.. but trying to get Brandon to go somewhere besides disney is a task.. he has been lik 24 times and he is 29, lol
