i HATE this [i guess this never posted]

i tried yesterday but i guess it didn't work.

so we got orders to virginia for the rest of dh's time in the navy [about 3 years]

they said we leave here on the 8th [we told the apartment, got a tow dolly for my car, got the movers informed, packed up the apartment pretty much].

then dh goes to base to get a leave chit and they said no no no you can't leave for a couple weeks. AND he;s not going to norfolk right away, he goes to san d for 3 months...?

now it's even more annoying to find a place for me, we dunno when we'll be there since they are on such a power trip here, we had to cancel everything, and will have re do everything in a couple weeks?

so are you going with him to San Diego or just him and you go to Norfolk?

HOPEFULLY both. but if i can't get any housing in san diego.. it's only 3 months so i will wait back in kansas with my family and then go to norfolk

ohh... well i hope you can go :).. if not youd get time with the family!! thatd always be nice too, wouldnt it? you could go ahead and head to Norfolk and have everything ready by the time he gets there!!

that sucks the navy likes to do s*&^ like that. i am sorry you have to deal with it. hey at least you will be with family for awhile .

yeah we just have nothing to "get ready" lol. since we werent here in pcola for very long we don't have all that much stuff. we'll get it all in VA. i'd love to spend time with family, but also i want these last 3 secured months with him, cause when we go to VA the underways start.. blahhhh

Brandon said you cant go with him unless its 6months... he said thats why they only gave him 3 months then they dont have to move his family!!!!

They move families for 6 month orders? Hmmm. Interesting. I was told that they only move families for year or longer orders.
