Robby's gone

Robby left thursday....I am still upset about it but I have been having my good days and bad days.... Today has been a so so day and I am just looking forward to getting my first letter from him...

Trust me. When you are having one of those bad or so-so days, do something to keep yourself busy. Take a walk, call a friend and do something with them, read a book, do something creative, anything to occupy your mind and not to dwell on the fact that he's gone. It will help you get through it and keep you out of getting too depressed. The busier you keep yourself, the better you will feel physically and emotionally. :D

Not a problem sweetie. I've been geo separated from my DH for 18 months. When I've kept busy, it's helped me a lot. When I haven't been able to keep busy, is when the depression has set in.

thanks so much girls :] its just been really hard because he always called me around 9 every night and texted me randomly through the day now my days are getting better but its at night that its harder....I guess I just have to give it more time.

I know what you mean it does seem like nights are the worst! But it will be okay just hang in there and stay busy durring the day and it will be homecoming before you know it!

Thanks :] I have been trying to do something everyday that tires me out for the night and just been going to school and hanging out with friends so to tire myself out I study.

itotaly agree it is best to keep yourself busy. me it is spending time th my son adn going dancing and work. me and dh have been living across the country since day one and this is his last depolyment and then we will be able to actually live together for good.when he leaves for a depolyment it is just harder. we are all here for you and you are not alone. :heart:
