| well my daughter who is 18 months has been going to the potty by herself for sometime randomly she will come to me say mommy potty and run to the potty and take her diaper off well she is in indiana with my family right now... because we have had alot to do and im having alot of health problems!! so she is in indiana till i go up there in 3 weeks!!! which sucks :( i miss my kiddies!!! But my mom called and said she hasnt pee'd or pooped in her diaper in 3 days!! im so excited.. and she did it on her own.. we werent trying to potty train her or anything she just hates her diaper.. im so excited for my baby girl... now my stepson on the other hand he is 3 and we just freakin got him potty trained... he just would NOT do it... he wanted NOTHING to do with the ptty!! i eventually put big boy spiderman underwear on him and told him if he pee'd in his underwear then he would hurt spiderman.. and he was like OMG terrified of hurting spiderman lol so he never peed in his underwear and that was it he was pottytrained... god i hope our youngest is like the other little girl!! | |

| The daycare my almost 2 year old Nephew goes to is trying to get all of the kids to pottytrain, and it's stupid because he can't even tell you yet that he has to poop because he doesn't even know the word. Every kid is on their own timeframe, and there is no reason to force it.
That is sweet for you that your daughter and stepson are on the bandwagon! | |

| yes i agree with all kids develop and do things at different times... but lelan was ready... he would tell you i poo pooed change my diaper... my hubbys ex wife was too lazy to take him to the potty | |
