The countdown to graduation

Subject: The countdown to graduation Wed Oct 01, 2008 1:41 am

begins!

He is gone, and will be on a plane to illinois tomorrow for boot camp. I am suprisingly ok for what I thought I would be, and I am just really proud of him more than anything. Now I am just worried how I am going to kill time besides taking care of the baby.

And I am also really happy to "officially" be a Navy Wife :)

I was sad a month before he left LOL well actually when he told me he signed up LOL

Yeah, I got all of my crying out the couple days before he had to leave and the day of. Now I am just like, "now what do I do?" haha :)

Just keep busy and time will fly by. Write him letters telling him how proud you are of him. Keep everything encouraging. They live for those letters. Even though they don't have a whole lot of time to write back, still send letters to him. They keep their spirits up when things get tough while they are in there. Keep him informed on how the baby is doing and how you are. Keep everything as positive as possible. You can say you miss him, if you don't, he'll think something is wrong. LOL!!! You know what I mean.

And it's funny, too, how saying you miss them boosts their self esteem, because it reminds them they have family to take care of. Crazy male complex!

Now I am just waiting for that small little 15 second phone call to tell me he's there. But I wish we could chat it up, I am so curious as to what's going on. I think i'm going to try to find some videos on youtube.

Bootcamp flies by sooo fast! You'll do great and congrats on finally being a Navy Wife :)
