Hey Yall! I am new to the site

Hi! I am new to the site, I have been a Navy Submariner wife for almost 18 years, I am not that old we just got married really young! We are currently in San Diego, onboard the USS HELENA waiting on orders to go through.

Hi!!! I'm Cara and it's nice to meet you. I hope you have fun here and meet lots of girls. Where you are you hoping to get orders , if I may ask? I know waiting for orders is nerve wrecking at least for me it was lol. The navy likes waiting till the last minute on everything!! hah

welcome, fellow submariner's wife. my husband is on the uss jefferson city here in san diego. how long have you been here for and how much longer until you get orders?

We have been here 1 1/2 years- we were suppose to leave in November but there is NO replacement for him so we have orders for march but I do not think those will stick either- The detailer has already mentioned June!
We are just hoping that he makes Master Chief and then it will all be OK if not then this back to back sea time would be all for NOTHING!!! So we have orders but we cannot do any planning because they will more than likely cancel them- kind of in an UNKNOWN state!!!!

My DH is going to be a Submariner, so I am glad a Navy Wife with your knowledge is joining us! Woo!
