True Story or Made Up?

So my friend sent me this site to check out "haunted areas" around our area. Well the husby is from Illinois so I clicked on there to read about places close to his hometown. And low and behold Great Lakes Recruit Training Command came up. I thought I would share it so you guys could ask your husby's if they ever experienced anything weird. Not sure if I'm a believer yet but here's what it says.


Great Lakes- Recruit Training Command- Recruit training command AKA boot camp for the Navy is haunted by many spirits. In ship 12 you can hear a woman's scream loudly and fade within seconds. In ship 13, you sometimes will see a figure of a recruit who hung himself. In ship 15, which was once reported as a mental hospital that caught on fire killing many people, you can see figures walking around throughout the night. Sometimes a ghost will whisper in your ear "REVEILLE REVEILLE." This has happened to many people. One time a coat hanger flew off the wall, over the fan that was on at the time and hit a friend of mine on the head. I was witness to it.




So what do you guys think? Believers or not?

even though i dont believe in haunted places, thats really freaky!

i asked DH he said nothing lol.
i can't read those kinds of stories when i am home alone... eeeeeeek haha i'm such a baby!

My hubby says " Ain't that the f*cking truth!" He worked there as a Water Survival Instructor for a few years. lol Then he started naming off places that were haunted. lol

haha thats crazy. like they dont have enough to deal with in boot camp and then the place has to be haunted?!?!

Wow, that's really scary. I'm scared to look up things about Newport, RI now, lol.

lol my husband would love it, he's such a freak about haunted stuff, it takes all I have not to laugh at him sometimes. when we went to st. augustine, f for our honeymoon, we did the ripleys haunted train tour and hes like "there's def. something here, something evil is here!" lol

I live 45 min away from St. Augustine! Did you go on the haunted ghost tours at night!? I love those, lol

We went to St. Augustine for mil. appreciation one year, it was pretty cool, that is a very interesting old town down there

i just forwarded that story to Nick at work, so hopefully he will spread the word around his team and we can come up with an answer!
