What are your plans for the weekend??

What are all of you doing this weekend? Hubby and I are probably gonna go bowling tonight and clean all weekend. My momma is coming in on Monday and I can't wait!!!

We probably won't do anything but stay in. I'm used to my husband working 6 days a week. So having him home on weekends now gives us more time to be a family.

going to Old Navy for their 50% off Sale and $1 flip-flops on saturday!

Maybe going to the fair tomorrow. Getting my daughter's birthday shopping done, and then her party is on Sunday! :D

old navy $1 flip flops sound amazing! i think we are going to the smithsonian space museum this weekend...i really want to go to the american history smithsonian but its closed until the fall for renovations. oh well, we'll still be here in the fall so ill see it then!

Simthsonian space museum! That's sounds really cool. I wish there were museums here other than NASCAR related ones... LAME.

haha! i know we just moved here about a month ago and im loving all the stuff we can do. we try to do at least one new thing a weekend so when we leave here we dont feel like we wasted the time and missed out on stuff. we're both from the west coast so this is way cool for us!

I would give anything right now to not be in FL. It really is boring. I mean I love Disney but I wish there was a little bit of culture here. Seriously, NASCAR is not culture. There are people in Daytona that would curse at me for saying that, but seriously, it's not a sport if you just sit in a car. I don't care if they sweat or not, that's not a sport. Because if it is than I do that sport everyday, lol.

haha yah we're totally not into nascar either...i think some people consider it a sport because dont the drivers like have to piss themselves because they drive for so long? i dont even know, thats just what i heard. but yah i wouldnt really consider it a sport either. there are soooo many different kinds of people/cultures here, its pretty amazing when you just stop and look around at everyone. im not all that impressed with disney either because i grew up in southern california going to disneyland all the time. its so dang crowded now! its like more annoying than it is fun to go.

OHHH yeah. People kept telling me that when I was pregnant with my son, and I kinda shrugged it off. But its SO true.

I love Old Navy's dollar flip flops!!!!

I got a pair like a year ago. And I wore them so much, DH threw them away :( He said " It needed to be done, you were never going to do it" :( lol

haha why did it need to be done? i love flip flops, i hardly ever wear shoes or socks...always flip flops.

Me too!!!! I only wear socks to go to the gym or to go running. I lovee my flip flops!

I am! I still have a few pairs. But they are light colored, and I hate them getting messed up, so I don't wear them often. lol

And me 3! I only put shoes on when I'm going jogging, or camping. Or if its raining really bad, but it has to be extreme for me not to wear flip flops

yah i know what you mean about the light colored ones. i usually always wear black. they go with everything :) and it rains a TON here so i bought some super cute rain boots from target!

I LIVE in black flip flops lol.

I'm glad it doesn't rain here. I moved for California for ONE year to Oregon, and I now hate rain. It rained like 3/4 of the time I lived there, and if it wasn't raining? It was windy. I hated it.

haha. i LOVE the rain. especially summer thunderstorms. but i understand, pretty much you hate it or you love it lol.
