| Thanks Shannon. It's actually a dress and an over-dress. I bought a bridesmaids dress and had the over-dress made for it. I had to have the dress altered. Had the neckline changed. The wedding was in a park and when I woke up that morning it was pouring down rain. I cried my eyes out and the rain stopped about 3 hours before we were to start. The ground was a bit damp where we had the ceremony and was swampy in parts of the park. I was so thankful that it turned out to be a decent day. | |

| Thanks. It was mostly friends there. My dad passed away before we got married and my mother lives in northern CA. His mother and step father didn't show up. His mom said that she was sick. Whatever. They were against our marriage from the beginning. His sister and her kids were there and one of my aunts and her husband were there. My mother's cousin and her daughter were also there. That was all the family that we had there and I come from a huge family. None of the rest of my family would come because we didn't have a Catholic ceremony or even anything close to a Christian ceremony. They all boycotted it. Everyone who was there said that it was the most beautiful wedding ceremony that they have ever attended. Especially considering that our friend, who performed the ceremony, included the girls in it. | |
