I suck at life!

So, I wanted to do something fun for DH's birthday, right? It was September 23....He said he would have liked to ride fourwheeler somewhere with me and his buddies or with just me. I set it up to go out with him, his buddies, and I for last Sunday and after church he decided he didn't want to go. I had already bought Weezer tickets (since that's one of his favorites) and I just got them in the mail today. DH told me he will be on shiftwork that day so he won't be able to go to the concert. So, I had to tell him all of his surprises were ruined and I didn't end up giving him anything for his birthday....Well, except sex. Sorry, TMI. Soooo....I feel really bad and nothing ever goes as expected in my life, it's crazy! Sorry, just wanted to rant a little, I feel a little better :)

At least you made an effort (twice!) and that is ultimately what matters!

That really sux that he had to work when the concert was. That's not your fault. You made a really good effort for him and you got him things that he really likes. You don't suck at life. Your gifts were great. Unfortunately, sometimes life sucks despite our best intentions.
